Some would argue that a course is absolutely necessary for standardized test preparation. In some instances, this may be true but I feel it is only absolutely necessary in situations that merit them. If you are truly behind in preparation and don't have a lot of time for the exam, then the Manhattan Review will encapsulate its book in a length of three weeks.

You will become familiar with the test topics and how to tackle various types of questions across different sections of the exam. That being said, the diagnostic testing is the same, and I'd even go so far to say that it is easier than similar resources. The tutors are there to help you, so it is advantageous for you to use it for areas which you think you're weak at.

That being said, they'll initially have you take a diagnostic exam to understand where your performance is, and they'll identify any weak areas you may have. It is important that you take the course seriously and submit any required materials on time to maximize the course's benefits. So, if you are short in time for test preparation, then this course could potentially supplement your learning; however, if you're trying to add this course into your study schedule, then I would personally opt for other similar courses, such as Princeton Review or Kaplan.
