When I was studying for the SATs back in high school, I decides to take them my senior year. I wound up signing up to take them during them during the winter, which gave me enough time to study up for them. My aunt had encouraged me to take a prep course to study and prepare so I could do my best and together, we decided that the Kaplan SAT course would be the best bet. It is a course that you have to pay for. We wound up paying about $599 for the course, which is completely online and accessible from anywhere. This seems like a lot of money, but when you think about it, it is reasonable.

When you sign up and pay for the course, you will have to log in to participate. You can do it anytime, from anywhere, which is something I really liked, because there was no set time I had to be on. I also liked the fact that I was able to work through the course at my own pace. This was really helpful to me, because I hate being rushed through the learning process and I also hate being held back by other students who are not learning as quickly as I am. I was able to stay up late at night on weekends working on this course, and that was when I feel I learned the most. You are able to take practice tests, which are also really helpful.

I found the practice tests to be the best part of the course, to be honest, because the questions are taken from actual SAT tests and they are great to work on, so you get the concept of what you will need to do on the actual test. You get to take the timed test online up to six times, which is great practice, because it really helps you to set the pace you will need for the actual test. The course itself is 18 hours long and you're allowed 50 hours of instruction from a teacher online, which can also be really beneficial if you have any questions about the material on the test.

The Kaplan course can be accessed from a mobile device, which is really great as well, so you can access it on the go. I actually logged in on my phone many times, because it was easy and I could learn, no matter where I was.

Finally, there is a money back guarantee when you sign up for this course through Kaplan. They promise you will get a higher SAT score after taking their practice course or they will refund your money, which is nice. Thankfully, I did get a higher SAT score after taking the course so I didn't need to utilize the money back guarantee.

I would highly recommend this SAT course from Kaplan because it is affordable and effective. It helped me so much and made me confident that I could score high on the SATs, and I did. It is well worth the money, especially when you consider your future. I am so glad I took the course!
