Rita Mulcahy PM FASTrack PMP Exam Simulation Software Reviews
PM Fast track is exam simulation software. It comes with around 2000 questions and its database is updatable from an online server. This means that the new questions will update in the software and will give you a chance to practice more.
The software allows you to practice question in any knowledge are or in any process group. Each question also has a detail explanation. Some questions have multiple correct answers and there is explanation that why a specific answer is more suitable then the others.
The tools allow you to attempt a full-length four-hour exam with exactly same feature of actual exam software. So it's a good idea to practice two to three exams before attempting actual exam. At the end of each exam the tool gives you an analysis from which you can find out that what are the weak areas where you need to improve. I would highly recommend this tool to anyone who is preparing for the exam.
The PM FASTrack software offers a very good simulation of how the actual PMP exam goes. This is especially useful for first timers to get them a feel of the exam. The tool offers various testing modes covering hundreds of possible PMP exam related questions. After you take the exam, it will give you your score and an analysis of your focus areas. This way, you'll know which area/s you scored low so that you can focus your studies there. Each time you take and retake the exam using the software, it will give you different sets of questions, so you don't have to worry about getting the same questions. It will really drill and familiarize you with the exam.
Personally, it took me several takes before I started passing with the tool. Once I started passing, I earn positive reinforcements enabling me to gain better confidence to prepare me for the actual exam.
This software goes hand-in-hand with Rita's PMP Exam Prep, as it links a lot of topics and explanations from there.
Dear Aspirants, I am happy to see you here to my third blog on PMP exam preparation and certification. You're welcomed again. I hope by this time you would have fair idea on what PMP is all about and what all is included in its curriculum because I expect you to have completed PMBOK and Rita Mulcahy's book at least once. Congratulations for your first tollgate success! Because you know in detail now what you're aspiring for. So you're better placed to make realistic plans about your exam preparation.
Now I suggest you to list down all process groups and knowledge areas. Try to be more specific by going into process. Analyze yourself if you have understood them. If you feel doubtful, go back and study those topics again so you can understand them well. But sometimes you would experience that you will still have few doubts left over.
Here comes the importance of doing practice question. It's indeed important to solve as many questions as available and possible in order to be aligned with exam pattern and get confident of subject knowledge. It's very important to understand the theory first however it's equally important to learn to be able to apply them. So now move your steps towards doing practice questions.
There are many practice question papers available in market. The first resource I will suggest you is to question available in Rita Mulcahy's PMP Exam Prep book. Once you have completed them, then you can use another Rita Mulcahy's product for Exam questions which is again one of good preparation resources in market.
This has excellent collection of questions for practice. Many questions are not very relevant and may be discarded. 2000Q is a good practice but one must not rely on only this. However, you may take 400Q practice test for your real time practice.
From this course I used the simulation. This is the best simulation, because I checked many simulations.
